Métis Nation BC - Métis Spirit Award Ceremony Pins
6 Pins, freehanded and based on grandmother pieces from the GDI. Made with traditionally brain tanned hide from Vancouver Island, bought from an elder. The beads used are size 13 charlotte cuts. The designs are based of the prarire rose and the colours of the Métis youth sash.

Made for a ceremony for UFV. Made with 100% cotton yarn.
MMIWG Art Installation
An art installation I designed for MMIWG day, May 5. I sewed the red dresses, different sizes for the different ages of girls that go missing. There are hand painted birch trees to mirror the art installation in the Museum of Human Rights in Winnipeg. The sides and back of the mural are lined with current missing posters of Women around Turtle Island.
Indigenous Peoples Day Powwow
